{"id":5061,"date":"2023-04-11T22:19:17","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T21:19:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brokerwahl.de\/?p=5061"},"modified":"2024-04-05T10:24:49","modified_gmt":"2024-04-05T09:24:49","slug":"broker-election-2023-these-are-the-winners-of-the-election-for-broker-of-the-year-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brokerwahl.de\/en\/broker-election-2023-these-are-the-winners-of-the-election-for-broker-of-the-year-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Broker Election 2023 - these are the winners of the Broker of the Year 2023 election!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Broker of the Year 2023 - the vote for Broker of the Year 2023 has been decided!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From 01 to 31 March 2023, 66,000 traders, investors and investors voted for their favourite broker in these 6 categories at www.brokerwahl.de:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Online Broker of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Daytrade Broker of the Year<\/li>\n<li>ETF &amp; Fund Broker of the Year<\/li>\n<li>CFD Broker of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Forex Broker of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Crypto Broker of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After five changes at the top in the previous year, it was more balanced this time: in three categories the previous year's winner was able to maintain his title and in three categories there was a new winner.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2596\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2596\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2596 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brokerwahl.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/@brokerwahl-e1609973748887-300x115.jpg\" alt=\"Broker choice 2023\" width=\"300\" height=\"115\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.brokerwahl.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/@brokerwahl-e1609973748887-300x115.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.brokerwahl.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/@brokerwahl-e1609973748887-768x294.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.brokerwahl.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/@brokerwahl-e1609973748887.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2596\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Broker choice 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>flatex was able to defend its previous year's success in the main category \"Online Broker of the Year 2023\" and in the category \"ETF &amp; Fund Broker of the Year 2023\", but fell out of the top 3 this year after winning the title of Day Trading Broker of the Year 2022<\/li>\n<li>comdirect was again able to finish ahead of Consorsbank in the main category, after coming third last year, and was only very close behind flatex in the end.<\/li>\n<li>There was a clear trend in the \"Daytrade Broker of the Year 2023\" category: smaller specialised brokers won out over larger brokers. The winner was justTRADE ahead of LYNX and ActivTrades. Consorsbank and flatex followed in 4th and 5th place.<\/li>\n<li>In addition to flatex, justTRADE also won in two categories. As in the previous year, the Frankfurt-based company also secured first place in the crypto broker category.<\/li>\n<li>ActivTrades secured the most top 3 placings. In addition to first place among forex brokers, there was also a third place among CFD brokers and day trading brokers.<\/li>\n<li>XTB won the \"CFD Broker of the Year 2023\" category ahead of Pepperstone and ActivTrades<\/li>\n<li>Trade Republic was not able to achieve a victory, but was nevertheless in the top rankings twice: 2nd place among crypto brokers and 3rd place among ETF &amp; fund brokers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Online Broker of the Year 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Extremely close could <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/flatex\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flatex<\/a> defended its title from the previous year and is therefore \"Online Broker of the Year 2023\". But the gap to the second-placed <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/comdirect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comdirect<\/a> was only razor-thin and not much was missing and the broker from Quickborn would have won the title in the most important category again, as it did in the years 2018 to 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Last year's runners-up, the <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/consorsbank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Consorsbank<\/a> from Nuremberg, swapped with comdirect and came third this time.<\/p>\n<p>Strikingly, only NeoBrokers were represented in places 4 to 7. Fourth place went to finanzen.net zero, followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/scalable-broker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scalable Capital<\/a>Trade Republic and, with a little more distance, justTRADE. At least the first three were so close behind Consorsbank that one can already be very curious about the choice of broker in 2024. Will one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/boersenlexikon\/neo-broker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NeoBroker<\/a> then into the top 3 of the main category for the first time?<\/p>\n<p>LYNX, onvista bank, ActivTrades, S Broker and 1822direkt placed 8th and next.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3787\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3787\" style=\"width: 1060px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3787 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Online-Broker-2023.png\" alt=\"Broker Election 2023 - the winners in the category Online Broker of the Year 2023\" width=\"1060\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3787\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Broker Election 2023 - the winners in the category Online Broker of the Year 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Daytrade Broker of the Year 2023<\/h3>\n<p>Here, flatex was not able to repeat the previous year's victory and had to settle for 5th place in the end. However, the winner from 2021 and the runner-up in 2022 succeeded, <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/justtrade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">justTRADE<\/a>, here again a success. In 2nd and 3rd place follow <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/lynx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LYNX<\/a> and ActivTrades, then Consorsbank, flatex, JFD Brokers and <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/vitrade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ViTrade<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3791\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3791\" style=\"width: 1060px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3791 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Daytrade-Broker-2023.png\" alt=\"Broker Election 2023 - the winners in the category Daytrade Broker of the Year 2023\" width=\"1060\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3791\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Broker Election 2023 - the winners in the category Daytrade Broker of the Year 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>ETF &amp; Fund Broker of the Year 2023<\/h3>\n<p>In the ETF &amp; Funds Broker category, the same as in 2022: flatex in first place ahead of Consorsbank. In third place was <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/trade-republic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trade Republic<\/a> just ahead of last year's third-place finisher: Scalable Capital. In the end <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/x-trade-brokers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">XTB<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/pepperstone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pepperstone<\/a> and ActivTrades. Last year's winner then followed in fourth place <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/admiral-markets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Admirals<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/wh-selfinvest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WH SelfInvest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3792\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3792\" style=\"width: 1060px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3792 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CFD-Broker-2023.png\" alt=\"Broker of the Year 2023 - the winners in the category CFD Broker of the Year 2023\" width=\"1060\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3792\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Broker of the Year 2023 - the winners in the category CFD Broker of the Year 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Forex Broker of the Year 2023<\/h3>\n<p>In the category Forex Broker of the Year, first place in particular was fiercely contested. In the end <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/activtrades\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ActivTrades<\/a> against <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/gbe-brokers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GBE Brokers<\/a> came out on top. JFD Brokers then followed with a slight gap in third place. The following places were taken by <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/cmc-markets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CMC Markets<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/etoro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eToro<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/tickmill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tickmill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3789\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3789\" style=\"width: 1060px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3789 size-full\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Forex-Broker-2023.png\" alt=\"Broker Election 2023 - the winners in the category Forex Broker of the Year 2023\" width=\"1060\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3789\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Broker Election 2023 - the winners in the category Forex Broker of the Year 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Crypto Broker of the Year 2023<\/h3>\n<p>The \"Crypto Broker of the Year\" title was awarded for only the second time in 2023 and last year's winner, justTRADE, was able to repeat its victory. This category also showed how well established the NeoBrokers have become. All three top places went to this broker group. Trade Republic followed in second place ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/broker-test.de\/broker\/finanzen-net-zero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">finanzen.net zero<\/a>.
