In the 20th anniversary year of the broker poll, over 49,000 traders (2019: 36,000 participants) voted on the best broker in each of these 6 categories from 03 to 31 March:<\/p>\n

There were victories for the favourites, but also real surprises!<\/strong><\/p>\n The new generation of brokers in particular, which is entering the brokerage market with disruptive business and settlement models, is causing a stir: <\/p>\n In the main category \"Online Broker of the Year 2020<\/strong>\", however, one of the established players was able to assert itself - the comdirect<\/a> won the title for the third time in a row! <\/p>\n In the category \"ETF Broker of the Year 2020<\/strong>\" was the first big surprise. <\/p>\n In the election for the \"Daytrade Broker of the Year 2020<\/strong>\"As in the previous year, the winner is Degiro. <\/p>\n The title \"Forex Broker of the Year 2020<\/strong>\" could for the first time ActivTrades<\/a> win. <\/p>\n In the category \"Futures Broker of the Year 2020<\/strong>\" once again secured WH SelfInvest<\/a> the title. <\/p>\n „CFD Broker of the Year 2020<\/strong>\" was Admiral Markets<\/a>. <\/p>\n The very rapid penetration of new brokers into the top group shows how dynamic the German brokerage market is. <\/p>\n And the question of which city is THE financial metropolis in Germany could also get a new answer in the future: <\/p>\n In the coming weeks, Broker-Test.de, the organiser of the Broker of the Year election, will present these new brokers and compare them with the established brokers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The complete winner lists of the 6 categories Online Broker, Daytrade Broker, ETF Broker, Futures Broker, CFD Broker and Forex Broker can be found here:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\nTrade Republic<\/a>, justTRADE<\/a>, Free broker<\/a> and Smartbroker<\/a> were able to win several top places and show that the German brokerage market is undergoing a major upheaval.<\/p>\nThe winners of the Broker Election 2020 in the 6 categories<\/h2>\n
\nThe eternal competitor from Nuremberg, the Consorsbank<\/a>, was able to maintain second place just behind.
\nWith a slightly larger gap behind this duo, the young fintech Trade Republic won third place.
\nFollowing at a slight distance are the fourth-placed Degiro<\/a>, flatex<\/a>, DKB, S Broker<\/a> and smart brokers.<\/p>\n
\nTrade Republic from Berlin was able to win this title clearly ahead of DKB and flatex right at the first broker election.
\nNewcomer justTRADE narrowly misses out on the podium in fourth place, but left established brokers like Onvista Bank<\/a>, S Broker, maxblue<\/a> and Netbank behind it.<\/p>\n
\nThe next two places are occupied by two disruptive brokers: justTRADE in second place and Gratisbroker in third place. The broker still leading in this category in an all-time comparison ViTrade<\/a> had to settle for fourth place.<\/p>\n
\nBy a narrow margin, XM.com was able to take second place and IG Europe<\/a> in third place.<\/p>\n
\nAs in the previous year, Lynx was the second winner here ahead of Degiro and Tradovate.<\/p>\n
\nThe Berlin broker was able to win this title for the second time, beating WH SelfInvest and CMC Markets<\/a> to the top.
\nIG Europe came fourth, ahead of Sparkassen Broker.<\/p>\n
\nDue to the Corona crisis, the change in market shares could accelerate again.<\/p>\n
\nThe former financial metropolis Frankfurt am Main is getting more and more competition from Berlin.
\n7 of the 18 medals went to Frankfurt this year, but Berlin follows directly behind with 6 medals. The gap is narrowing and who will come out on top in 2021 is far from decided!<\/p>\n
